While it seems like it’s all knitting all the time here at soapturtle knits. Today, I actually made some soap. This is the first batch in a year, and it felt good to do it. Perhaps I’ll make some more some time soon.

This is a batch of cold process soap made with Lard, Coconut Oil, Mango Butter, and Macadamia Nut Oil. It is scented with Citrus Basil FO and I used some green oxide colorant for the swirl. (I am still not good at the swirls. Funny how a year of not doing something doesn’t make you better at it.) The bars are about 4 ozs each. I am very pleased that they turned out so well.
