The Hounds of Winter, They follow me down. With big fat snowflakes, that drift past my windows and down to the earth, where they aren’t melting. For a girl who is used to about one half an hour snow flurry a year, the amount of snow we have had in this month alone wears me out. It’s cold, it’s wet, and tomorrow it will freeze into hard ice and make it hard to get out and do things.

Today, however, it is beautiful..

And I have completed one of the Sekrit Skwerl socks. Which I feel free to post here, because I am pretty much determined the recipient doesn’t read my blog.

Happy Sunday. :)

The snow is pretty – but I’m not looking forward to trying to get to work in the aftermath tomorrow!

    The sock looks great too!

You have more sticking power than me. I’ve made exactly one pair of plain socks and I had
all on to start the second one. After that I realised that I needed a pattern or colour changing
yarn to keep me interested. The only good thing about winter is that it’s an excuse for hats,
    mittens, gloves and scarves.
