Yesterday, my replacement Banana Silk arrived. And it was just in time, because this morning, I finished my right hand Anemoi Mitten. So now that I have concentrated on my first colorwork for a couple of days, and feel pretty damned good about it, I am ready to go back to some plain stockinette. Hooray for a new silk scarf.

yay – the mittens look great! good timing as it’s FREEZING!!!!!
It looks really good. I’m ashamed to say that I still have only one mitten and that has no thumb. I just keep doing other stuff
The mitten looks fantastic — mine was the unfortunate product of a gauge accident and while it fits perfectly in width, it’s clearly made for someone with hands much much longer than mine. I’m only about an inch from finishing it (plus the thumb), but I can’t be bothered since it’s still beautiful but I’ll never wear it =p
Way cute mittens! I want to see them in person!
The mittens look so pretty!
Woowee! Cool mitten! So did the company offer any excuse about the bananna silk? Are you gonna try a test swatch in some water first??
Is that your hand painted yarn I see! Very nice!
I think your mitten looks fantastic! Bravo!
Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate you stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. So sorry it took me so long to get over here! Adding you to my bloglines.
Impressive mittie! I can see why you would want a stockinette break, though…
Stockinette is such a good palate cleanser.
Hooray for the finished Anemoi!
Your mittens are coming along great. Wish I had a pair up here in New England!
